Legshields
I know they would be expensive but why doesn't anyone make a good pair of series 3 legshields. Trying to find a decent used set is getting bonkers.

Unfortunately, nothing fits like original. I tried 3 pairs of 'perfect fit' remade legshields, but none fitted as they should. I got my original set repaired in the end. This is why even battered sets hold their money so well.

I would hazard a guess that you would need a pretty big press and the means to produce the blank from which to make your perfect pressing. Then the edge needs rolling for the beading, and the bracket fitting.chippy wrote:I know they would be expensive but why doesn't anyone make a good pair of series 3 legshields. The bottom line is that it would be too expensive.
Did you have to do that?
