12v. ac regulator

im looking for a small 12v.ac regulator to use on a friends chopper im wiring up, would this work ?

BGM one is quite small and tidier looking than that one.
I'm sure it must be a generic part with LAT included.

Can't tell, the spec doesn't give the rating of the regulator.
If the regulator is only rated for 60w and you have a 120w stator, it will become stressed and fail.
The second thing is this regulator doesn't have a heat sink so it's likely to be relying on the frame/steelwork its bolted to to dissipate the heat.
It will probably work but may not last long
