Just playing with my carb settings at the moment on mu TS1/30PHBH/Franspeed Supertourer as the hand choke is not having the 4 stroking effect that it used to I currently have an AV266 with x7 on the 2nd clip from the top. I also have an x2 and an x13 but I'm not sure which is richer. Information on the net is contradictory

Only difference on those 3 needles is the length of the taper to the tip.
X7 = 20mm
X13 = 22mm
X2 = 24mm

X7 being the leanest.

Hi coaster I have the same set up as you with a 55 idle , x13 same clip setting , 135 main jet with a ramair filter set up on dyno at diablo moto . hope this helps . col

Yes it does help, also have 55 pilot and just upped the main from 135 to 138 open carb though. Think it could stand a 140 as the choke makes no difference at full throttle. Revs to 8.5k now though
