Legshield toolbox rubber, the fitting of.

Hi chaps, as per title, what's the best, and easiest way? I can't seem to avoid the little creases on the top, either side of the legshield tunnel. Any tips gratefully received. Thanks Pete.

Subtle nicks in the rubber on the "blind" side where it turns.

I always cut a slight nick in it, seems only way to get it to sit right

I used a shitload of clear silicone, did the job

Agree with subtle nicks.
Genuine vespa ones used to have v shapes nicked on the top side.
