Hi, I can only agree with your findings. I had one of the digital ones that would only light up and not display any figures. Like you I took it apart and got someone to check it over. He couldn't find the fault at all . this was new unit bought 2nd hand so I had no guarantee.

Agreed - shite. Completely inaccurate and temperamental. Any recommendations for an electronic , analogue faced rev counter that's available now?

fitted one to my Harley sportster. it didnt , it wasnt and it wouldnt. crap.

it wouldnt go over 60 anyway so it really didnt need a speedo acurate or otherwise.
