Engine Mounts

I'm considering engine mounts for a new casing I'm building.
There's so much choice these days but wonder what's the verdict on the extended 60's race style engine mounts. Is anyone using these and are they any better than the standard large type?

I'm using an extended mount on the kickstart side and a normal large SIL one on the other side,so far so good.

Using SIL ones myself but think il go for a slightly harder one next time . Think the mb/bgm ones are abit tougher.

I use an extended one on the sidecar because of the extra stress cornering, BGM one did not last long. I use BGM ones on the solo without any problems avoid Scootopia ones they are hard and cause vibration.

The early 60's style mounts lasted forever but transmitted a lot more vibration. I also believe the cones are different. Not a good move imho, as others have said, Sil mount on the mag flange side and an extra long mount on the kickstart side.

Not sure about out but they can be put in ok. You need to change the cones if you go from standard li type engine mounts or the engine may catch frame.

Just took a test drive with scootopia mounts. My god, the amount of vibrations is 10 times more than with my previous SIL ones. It's almost unridable!
Had some no name indian ones from Scooter-center that only lasted 400km. Think it was part number 7672609. But they barely transmitted vibration except between 2000 to 3000 RPM.

I've got the scootopia mounts in my Eibar and I don't find them that bad to be honest, but I've only done running in miles and the short daily commute so far. On my sidecar combo I'm using RLC's sidecar mounts....now they do vibrate!
