The Chinese ones will be with you in about a week I would guess. I've ordered a fair few bits and pieces from China and have usually been amazed at the speed of delivery.

I'd be interested to hear how they perform, LED lamp technology has come on leaps and bounds.

If they are anything like the the supposedly 80w headlight bulbs ...Don't Bother ...I expected so much more ....they are very white .....but not as good as a 35w halogen ...a disgruntled scooterist

Pathfinder uses a great pre focuses system so work great with a standard lamp giving a good beam. I have tried several LED type and have yet to find anything half as good. I'm using 6w Cree with a condenser type lens built in the front. It had several grooves cut round the aluminium lamp and I experimented how deep into the reflector the lamp sat. I made some small half moons to mount the lamp. It's not perfect but the light is very white so is akin to my HID headlight. The incandescent lamp was very yellow. For your mod types with lots of spots You van get Cree LEDS in most fittings that use minimal wattage

If you tried it in a standard Lambretta headlamp Andy you were wasting your time as the reeded glass diffracts the light all over the place. The Jockey's headlamp uses a modern clear lens and a shaped reflector and should work much better with a modern LED lamp. That said, reviews I've read comparing halogen/LED/HID in the same light unit indicate that the HID is significantly better but the LED was better than the halogen and drew much less current....heat can be a problem with LED's though.
