0.80mm is this to big ?

service limit is generally quoted as 0.5mm on standard barrels would have thought the same on GT.

typical clearance is 20 thou which is about or 0.5mm 0.8 is getting to the top end. Measure the bore and measure the rings to confirm which has worn. Typically, you'll get away with replacing just the rings if everything is looking OK. If you are in doubt Email me some pictures, my address is in my profile or find me through the web.
