does the above exhaust fit easily to a standard 125 LI without having to do any cutting or fettling? I am a crappy d.i.y'er

Series 2 or Series 3?
Expansion chamber type exhaust?
Typically, over the kick start expansion chambers will hit the right side floor board at the tail end.

Yes, you will need to cut the rear of the runner board. It takes about a minute with a dremmel
I have to ask - is the engine a standard 125

Series 3 with a 186 kit. Is the Franspeed over the top for my engine?

Depends on what "186 kit" you are talking about.

It's a Mugello kit.

I asked just in case you were thinking of one of the cheap Indian alloy barrels that are often seen on ebay. Anyway, in answer to your question, I can't speak from experience as my Supertourer is on a TS1. However, having had a Mugello at one time, I would say that it would probably work pretty well with appropriate gearing and a decent carb.

I've used a Franspeed ST pipe on a Jet 200 and no cutting of anything was required.

Not sure how the st compares to the race at the back end . I cut an arc out of the back drop down section of the runner to aid clearence.
