My s2 for some reason had a 1 terminal switch on it that was seized and so needed replacing, under further investigation there are 2 other terminals that had been tapped up out of the way ?? so ive bought a 3 terminal switch and fitted the wires accordingly to the wiring diagram ( battery) BUT the brake light strays on and only goes out when the brake is pressed ????
ive checked all the earths, connections etc etc ....could the switch for some reason be faulty or even working back to front ?? it was purchased off tintershocking bay ....
Please help as this is stopping ( excuse the pun) me from getting it MOT'd ready for registration !!!!

Last year I bought a brake switch that operated in reverse. Took it back with my multi meter to the shop and of course they changed it without question. So it can happen. You need to check with a meter.
