No tick over on Rapido

Mates Li is running a 225 Rapido with a delly 30phbh. It will only tick over with the choke on but rides fine, nice and crisp on the throttle still. Any ideas will be much appreciated! Cheers.

Would think that sounds like an air leak somewhere.

What jets are in it now?

could be an air leak, or idle jet too small or blocked, have the jets been checked ?

I don't know to be honest, couldn't find any carb faults but it was running fine with current jets in beforehand. Where and how could the air leak be found?

leak down test would find where the leak is, inlet manifold gasket/joint or cylinder base gasket could be your airleak, or main seals
