Would you take the bonnet off your car if you were taking it for an MOT,leave em on and if the examiner takes them off make sure you put them back on,oh and take your old MOT ticket with you.

If you own an Audi A2, we testers would prefer if it you did,
Then we wouldn't have to put it to one side by the MOT bay, and pray no one steps on it, or drops anything on it.
And with scooters I prefer sidepanels to be left off before an MOT for the same reason, but as stated, its not compulsory,
And I always get the customer to refit them and check security.
Shaun.

The only time my man takes them off is if he hasn't seen it before Shaun.

Mine passed the MoT with no sidepanels.

To check your rear shock, and the frame number?

They also wanted to check the frame loop for cracks when I had mine last year. I also had to change the plug as the bugger wouldn't start....!

This taking the panels off has all ways bugged me, you would not strip the panels off a modern twist and go to check the shocker so why do they do it to lambrettas.
