yeah your right garry, max torque and bhp between 7 and 8k, its pulls so hard, no wonder the clutch struggles, it sounds way better now its set up right, i will try and get a video loaded up, i had to put my fingers in my ears when it was in full song on the rollers.

Sounds good Holty and a decent number to boot eh?! Glad to see it's going well! What sort of timing curve are you using?

cheers ryan,
im running 17 degrees static timing using one of anthony tambs external pick up and his dc ignition box running straight from the battery, it might make more power with an ignition curve to the rotax specs, something i might add in the future, hows yours coming along ?

well finally got my rear runners and side panels fitted, looks almost like any other scooter now, had a little ride out last night for an hour or two, ran well, no problems

Looking good Holty! What kind of coolant temps are you seeing? Must be maintaining decent temps otherwise that overflow tube would be giving you quite the surprise once it got hot!
I'm running similar initial timing specs, 17 degrees BTDC, total around 24 for now. Will play with it a bit, but it seems happy there. Do you have an EGT gauge fitted? If so, what temps are you seeing? How is the exhaust working out?
