Magflange small seal

Ok,
I haven't stripped the flange yet (ooh err), but it appears to have 2x small seals fitted, the outer is deffo black (Rolf stylie) and looks to have a Viton one in of that, maybe in place of the L washer, is this a new fangled thing I know nothing of ???????????

No, that's wrong. DPO probably couldn't find the correct L washer and just rigged it to work. As long as the bearing is sitting at the correct height I can't see it causing too many problems apart from a stray spring working its way loose in the the flyside bearing.

Cheers guys, I have rebuilt with the 'L' washer and normal set up.

Wack, thanks for that, I have never seen it done.
But this had the large mag seal as well, maybe someone being over cautious :lol:
