I am not sure what year Indian GP200s came from Lucknow to the UK. Possibly '78?? I stand to be corrected on this.

Anyway, I have a SIL leaflet from '79 somewhere. I have just tried to locate it on the internet but can't find it. The leaflet I have is from the same time as the one second from bottom in this:

Anyway, I am fairly sure that in '79 the GP200s were sold in yellow and red whereas the GP 150s were in sky blue, white and lime green. I hope this helps a bit.

I thought that the Indians didn't make GP's until after the demise of the Italian factory.

Here's some leaflets I got from the 1980/81 range when I worked at pitville motorcycles the 200.we're black, red and orange the 150 white, lime green and a canary yellow I don't remember a blue or Turquoise at all maybe other dealers got different colours
the model is jo guest who married ronnie wood
the indian scooters were always problematic with seizures common this was mainly due to the fact that while italian scooters were common most were 20 years old and
had a good used bore were as no one really wanted to run anything in :D then so rode them likethey did with older scoots the spanish machines were worse with electrical problems being most common especially light and indicator switches also they were slow , they only stocked new lambrettas for 18 months and half the original indian stock went back to concessionars with a note saying no thanks I remember a removal lorry turning up to collect them :|
