Plenty have with great feedback. I think Bro-lam and Readspeed do kits based on Electrex. Negatives are that it's difficult to get Electrex to answer any questions and there's no quick fixes at the roadside because nobody will have spares for it.vicvega wrote:Has anyone tried electrexworld ignitions, look a good bit of kit?

That's why I changed my Varitronic to a "standard" set-up.corrado wrote:Plenty have with great feedback. I think Bro-lam and Readspeed do kits based on Electrex. The Varitronic worked fine but I was always worried it may pack up miles from home. I've now got a BGM stator, CDI, and regulator, with an AF mid weight flywheel. If going any distance I carry a spare CDI and Stator. I use an M-tech which can always be disconnected and reverted back to static if needs be
