What are people's opinions on these? MB's stuff is always spot on but £1100 seems a lot to me.

I'm guessing it's priced based on what it costs plus a margin, he must have worked out what he needs to make it pay.

Obviously MB need to make money and without knowing how much each box costs MB it's possibly unfair to say they are over priced by MB. I've a Cyclone in my RB250 but after it spat two teeth from the Xmas tree I've no confidence in it. I do love the way the Cyclone performs though and would seriously consider one of these ( after they are throughly tested ).

Sounds like Mr B is putting into production the gearbox he made years ago for himself and one other. If its as good as his own it should be well up to the job and he's run it with some meaty motors.

He's quoted upto 100 Bhp will be ok with these boxes. If that's the case, if assembled correctly, they'll be truly bulletproof.
