Hi
As I mentioned in my intro I have a Sx 225 TS1. The problem is that it vibrates badly. It vibrates enough to have cost me quite a few parts + shaking one of my finger to bits on a long trip. After trying my friends RB225 I realise that it doesnt have to vibrate like this. I am suspivious of the HPC Crankshaft that is in there and were wondering if anybody else had any experience of this?
My engine set up is.
TS1 225 with road tune by Taffspeed (packin plate under cylinder because of Yam rod)
Taffspeed exhaust
Taffspeed HPC crankshaft with Yam rod
Std reed with packing plate underneath
Dellorto Flatslide carb
Ser 2 rubbers as there were no good Ser3 rubbers when I built the engines many Years ago.
I have run this engine with various flywheels and stators without much of a difference. Right now it runs BGM stator and an old AF flywheel.
I have tried less and more ignition timing without much change.
The carburation were set up at the Taffspeed dyno during a trip to the UK
What do You guys think? There is not that many tuned Lammys in Norway so I would be grateful for any input on the matter.
