Thinking of getting one but they are £80 more than the scootrs copy. questions I have are.
Are they stand out quality?
Do they require fettling?
Do they fit the rods without any slop?
Are they 80% better than the copy?
what can I say, Christmas is coming and I have promised the kids a stick and hoop for Xmas...

i have the rimini housing, thought it was quite dear at the original £75 but i thought why not, i was spending £600 on the rest!, unfortunatley they went up to £125 by the time i got mine. that said the quality is superb, "standout" im not sure how to judge, fit is good i seem to remember quite tight but i was using all new collars, bushes, rods etc. as i was changing my sx to the correct later type. i had used the earlier set up as i had wanted brass wheels.no slop.have not seen the RS type so cannot compare although i think i would have tried them had they been available at the time. bit of a bummer that the originals are only £46 now! the only fit issue i had which was nothing to do with the kit or Rimini was the roll pins that fit in the bar ends stood to proud for my liking so ground them down so as not to catch on the grips. good luk with whatever you choose. Andy.

The scoot rs one is not as good as the original one which was made by that french tune chap I think, the Rimini one is also better than the scoot rs one. I have both types but The choice is yours

My Rimini one "speckled" quickly at the first sign of rain and took a bit of polishing out.

Interesting as mine did the same, although I don't think Rimini quite believed me as I chased them about it but the matter never got resolved. I hand chose mine from a selection of about a dozen so I knew I hadn't just been unlucky with what was in the box. Do you know what caused this and how easy was it to polish out?

I have seen a couple of these it looks like they have welded up the original numbers and re- engraved the 5 speed , looks like porosity in the ally weld.
