Got an old hospital bed converted/narrowed down to put the scoot on & work at waist height. It's been a godsend but leaked its hydraulic oil out & stopped working. How is the best way to get this remedied? Ta.

Find a firm around your way that repairs hydraulic rams. Might only need a seal kit.

I had a problem once with a trolley jack that was fixed with a seal kit. A local guy that serviced hydraulics (including trolley jacks) sorted it. So 'd look for someone similar - there are plenty of trolley jacks around that need servicing so I imagine someone should be able to help.

You can do it yourself the only tricky bit maybe working out how the ram comes to bits. Once you have the seal out take it to an hydraulic parts shop and they should fix you up with a seal. Just remember which way around the seal goes.
