Going over to a ts1 for the 1st time, finally killed my old barrel, not having any tuning work one yet but was wondering is there any point in changing the inlet manifold from the standard 1. Seems a lot of choice out there any advice?
60x107 Jb crank, avanti head, 30ml delli, or 30ml tmx. Jl pipe.
Cheers

Only if you are making other changes to better performance too or if panel clearance is an issue. OK, so some aspects have moved on over the years but when different manifolds were tested in Scootering many years ago, the finding was pretty much that it made bugger all difference!
If you are changing your reed block to a V-force type then this is worth doing for performance. Then again, I've known TS1 riders to change to V-force reeds for the performance gain, then revert to traditional because they found that the V-force reeds didn't last as long on reed motors (not great for longer-term reliability).
Horses for courses. There certainly are gains to be made in terms of panel clearance, if you don't want to cut a hole in your panel.
