Aldi Torque wrench

Aldi are selling 1/2" torque wrenches for £15.99 from today (22/10/2015). At last my hub nut will be tightened to the correct toque!

Yes it may well have a ratchet to go left or right but the torque setting only work one way. The type that the square drive pushes through can be used both ways. A few others also bar or digital. Been a few sheared or mullered the nuts waiting for the click.

You're right, it doesn't click left handed. Just tried it on a wheel nut at a low torque. Many thanks for the tip.

What's the minimum setting on these? I'm looking for one for the smaller torque nuts on a scoot.....

28Nm is the lowest setting. It's not for small torques - it's about 15" long.

I broke a flywheel, it sheared down the keyway, when my ebay torque wrench that was "reversable" turned out not to be
