ts1 225 -gearing
hi, currentley running a straight out the box ts1 225 with a jl 3 pipe,gearing at the mo is li 150 with 17x48 sprockets (4:80) just wondered if this is about right or do i need to alter my crownwheel/sprocket slightly ?i mainly ride one up, thanks for any info. db
Depends what you want it to do really, I'm not expert in this field others on here are more qualified than me but I run a 17x46 set up but with a Taffy pipe ok my barrell as had a little felting around the edges but this set up works well for me top end is around 85ish as it has load of grunt bottom end but it's not a rev monster in top ....needs to be set up like this as I'm a fat git ! you have to ask yourself you want a balls out racer or a torqey touring motor with a little less top end?
