I've been experiencing a strange urge to own a Heinkel Tourist. Mostly because they look like something out of 1950s sci-fi.
Has anyone ever owned one and are they actually any good?

Mate had one briefly as a field bike, they are a bit heavy as a scrambler. Scarilidge, I know. Wish I had one now.
Had a Durkopp Diana on the road when I first started riding on the road in 1965. I thought it was the ugliest bike on the road at the time.

i owned one for a few years and used it regularly ,rallys etc, there slow, mine was 55 cruising 60 tops , bad uphills, but extremely smooth and very reliable , me and my wife both loved it , very comfy great on fuel , electric start , gears take a bit of getting used to , id have another no problem. mine was an A 2 175 four stroke , i never had any problems in 3 years of ownership, just serviced.
