I was watching this auction. i quite fancied it, if I could get it for around £200 - £250

yep madness- the "911" plate is quite attractive but the scooter isn't on DVLA database. The best you could hope for is to retain the number somehow but it would be non- transferable.

Can't see £900+ value personally.

I've got an Innocenti stamped airbox anyone can have for £300...............

The whole picture looks set up to me. If it had been festering in those bushes for more than a few months I reckon the legshields would be rotten through.

The wording of the description would be enough to put me off!

I know its a bike, but it was bloody cheap compared to a scooter

I wouldn't be surprised if its a wind up and people have been making stupid bids that they've no intention of honouring. Apart from the frame (possibly), there's nothing much you could use. You might be able to keep the number plate but I doubt it.
