Has this set up allways been on the scooter?Contact previous owner and ask?If so,is it smoking alot?Could be flooding carb.Check plug to see if its wet and oily.

I've got a 186, 30mm dellorto 120 main jet 55 pilot av266 x7 needle, JL3 pipe, ignition set at 19 degrees running an LI150 box with 16 x 46 gearing.
It runs great, the ports have been opened up a bit, it'll touch 70 top end and sit happily at 60 all day long.
You might have to open it up to see what gearing you've got. Someone in our club was trying to run one on 17x46 gearing and it just died in 4th.

i plan on trying my mates carb tomorrow if that fails i will be checking the timing we a strobe . as i said the guy i bought it from has not a clue about lammys . rule out the small things first . thou hope its a simple fix like timing or jetting . the lam my just gets to the point when driving where it won't rev right out i have changed the jet i went from a 125 to a 120 to a 115 all still the same lam my won't rev out while riding

sounding more like electrical........stator/cdi or even the plug (worth changing).
