Lambretta s3 chrome ring legshield alignment

Am doing a dry build of my LI3 before sending off to paint.
When fitting the legshield ( new repro) and horn cast the top of these are pretty much exactly in line with the top of the frame tube / headstock as per photo.
Looking at the chrome ring itself the outer ring is slightly recessed so slightly higher so looks like this is ok but just want to double check as can make any changes before paint.
