GP200 gearbox fitted to Li, something's not right?

Hi all, I have just fitted a gp200 gearbox to my Li125 engine. When I put the side casing on it feels like it's being obstructed, maybe on the clutch? There is no play in the clutch arm whatsoever so I am thinking the clutch might be being pressed in slightly. It does kick but not as good as it did before and I can't get it to start, started first kick everyone before. So, I am thinking if the clutch is being activated, even if ever so slightly, would that explain it not starting? And, if that is the case how do I resolve it? Tia :D

obviously something is wrong so it needs to come apart. Have you changed the side casing at all (to GP perhaps?)

No, li side casing. The clutch flange is an li one too with the little nipple sticking up, should I replace that too?

Disconnect your clutch cable first to make sure it's not over adjusted and causing it to slip. Just unhook it, you don't need to remove the trunion.

Did you change anything else at the same time?

Is the inner flange fouling on the top clutch steel and compressing it a little when you tighten the side case down.

Still the same with clutch cable disconnected....all I have changed is the Xmas tree and loose gears.

Should I be putting a GP clutch flange on it rather than the Li flange?

Did you fit a GP endplate with kickstart ramp?

No, it's an li end plate, with ramp on side casing.
