its been a while...

... Since I worked on a Vespa.
Fitting a replacement engine to my son,s PX and I can't remember how to set the clutch cable.
Should I pull the arm forward till I I feel it start to push then tighten the trunion?

Yes

make sure the cable adjuster is wound right in so you can adjust it to get it perfect.

get it so it has 2-3mm free on the clutch lever before it starts to bite

Make sure the adjuster is screwed all the way in first. Pull the arm forward and the cable back, move the nipple up to the arm and tighten it. Then add another one behind it to make sure it doesn't slip.
