Which Loctite would people recommend for a complete engine rebuild, just about to start but I'm unsure which to use as there's so many different types, all advice gratefully received.

Thanks :D

I've recently rebuilt my RT200 with Loctite 574 for the head and Loctite 5910 to base and manifolds.

2701 is their high strength threadlocker, friggin dear though. worth the money for things like the malossi reed allen bolt that falls out and destroys your crank or variator nut on auto engines. grinding paste is also a good buy for lapping and cheap from beedies

270 high strengh to fix studs
243 medium to fix nuts to studs
222 low on any thing you might need to remove at the side of the road
hermatite red for base gaskets
wellseal for head just grease on all other gaskets to soften them
