Did Neath to LLandudno up and back in 2 days a couple of weeks ago on my TSR seat on my S3 imola .
It looks lovely and I don`t want to bolt it on and off each time I do long distance but I can`t take the arse pain again ...Anybody used one of those inflatable covers or bodged something similar in place just for the ride.
I honestly think I`ve done my arse nerves permanent damage

...

Pal of mine rode his Lammy with us to the rally in Worthing couple of weeks back with an Air Hawk strapped to his seat . He said it was fantastically comfortable. Not cheap though.

I have an Airhawk, the Large cruiser pillion model which is near perfect for a Lammy sports seat. I bought it after completing an LCGB coast to coast run where I clocked up 250 miles on the first day and never recovered. I was in agony and could only manage 20 or so miles at a time. Last year I was signed up for the LCGB trip to Davos in Switzerland and with around 700 miles to cover each way we needed to be doing 250 miles every day. The Airhawk was fantastic, you inflate it and then deflate it whist sitting on it so that your arse is only just suspended above the seat. Takes a few miles to get used to but my god is it worth it. They come in rubber and vinyl versions, the vinyl being quite a bit cheaper. Ghost Bikes are a good source

Been using my air hawk2 for around 3 years now and have recommended them to oyhers. They work and they last. The cruiser fits a cutback ancillotti and will cost you around £90,cheers,Speedy.

Cheers for the info boys ..I thought the cruiser airhawk looked too big but if it fits ok , that the one for me.
I came back from the rally a day early on my own as i was going away and had to stop as I was in so much pain.
Its normally me getting pissed off with other people as they cant ride for more than 45 mins without stopping .
