its the age old question of which tyre is the best. Looking for tyres for dry weather scootering. Currently running Sava Kran which I think are the classic tread tyre. Made in Slovenia. There are two tyres which I think are decent quality which are, Sava mc18 whitewall and the schwalbe weatherman whitewall. What are your opinions on these tyres?
Are there any other decent tyres out there? Must be whitewall to stick to the classic look. Not to keen on the continental after seeing my mate come off his Vespa due to lack of grip and skidding when doing low mph. Cheers

I doubt you will get many people recommending the Schwalbe these days as plenty of reported problems with them delaminating...although I ran them for a while without any issues as have others. So maybe the Sava are your best bet?

Couldn't agree with you more about the Continental whitewalls, avoid if you want tyres that grip the road

MC18s are good in the dry but not so good in the wet, the MC20 is a better all rounder in our climate. Both last around 1,500 miles.
Too many Schwalbes have delaminated to warrant a recommendation. Good tyres while they last but a lottery that's not worth the gamble.
