Anyone using a side stand on a Vespa Rally?
I've bought 2 now & neither is any good... the first one was that shite that I didn't even bother trying to fit it - so I then bought the SIP px one, f@@ked about re-drilling the holes to get it to line up with the ones on the scoot.... and the tw@ts way too long!
So before I go shelling out on a 3rd one, I want to make I get one that's fit for purpose... so hoping someone can point me in the right direction?

One for a Vespa PK! You will still have to adjust the mounting bolt holes

Cheers Yanker... hadn't considered a one for a smallie - I'll give it a go.

The PK's are a fair bit taller than V ranges so you could still find the leg too long, maybe better looking for a V range one instead. Not tried it myself so if Yanker has then all well and good and go with the PK version.

I have seen stands that connect to the main engine mount and that's the only type I'd consider. Rallys are made of the thinnest, crappiest excuse for steel that Italy ever produced. The centre stand bends the floor out of shape, a side stand would wreck it.

I looked at this type - but it wouldn't clear the exhaust I've got on... know what you mean about the rally floors though - I've got one of the side stand reinforcement plates to try & give some extra support.ArmandTanzarian wrote:I have seen stands that connect to the main engine mount and that's the only type I'd consider.
