Series 2 rear light

done a quick check this morning on the basic lambretta things before going on a ride. As I was checking the rear lights I noticed that the lights came on for a second then went off so on both second and third click on the ignition there are no rear lights. Brake light works fine. Checked bulb and that's ok.Earth seems ok on the bulb holder,checked back through the loom to the cdi and rectifier and all seems fine. Front lights work ok as well. Is there anything in the headset that could cause this? Just a update. When the scooter is idling with the ignition on third click(lights on) there is no lights but when I Rev the engine both brake light and rear light come on together.

that would indicate theres a loose wire or something earthing to me.

My moneys on the ignition switch but thats just a guess to be fair.

Check there is power coming out the switch black and the headset blacks are connected ok. Presumably the speedo light didn't work as well?

Speedo light works on click 3 main lights but not on click 2 side lights.
