its a bit of fun before we start---- over a few beers in cleethorpes at the weekend the p155 taking starts the topic you broke down no i never yes you did etc etc, so the question is what is classed as a break down a few below where chucked into the hat

you must have left your house and met with your riding companions.
more then 5 kicks to start the scoot
spanners out of the tool box (unless you state clearly just going to adjust something etc)
bump start required
puncture is debatable
van required to get home

We (ILC) class panels off as a breakdown

Id be knackered then for panel off,my oil is in an under panel carrier!

On the way to cleethorpes my spark plug cap came of twice replaced secound time and on the way home my carb rubber split. I class this as three breakdowns

One lad who rides with us takes his panels off before entering the site, gives it all a clean and puts panels back on.

Does OCD class as a breakdown ?

anyone that simply owns a Lambretta is probably experiencing some sort of breakdown- most likely a mental one........

breakdown is where bike cannot be fixed at roadside, everything else is an unscheduled stop.
