this is the original post from last season. spent around 40 quid on it in the last 12 months ( scrounged rear running boards, parts fair indian mudguard, rattle cans, mot) , less than 100 quid insurance and petrol. zero breaksdowns on cast iron 150 barrell, its good for plodding , cruises at 60 ish, what more do ya want????

alcoholic maniacs sc wrote:this is my 86/87 season bike and the reason i put this together, an old iron barrel shitter that did a rally on a minimum of 3 heat siezures, took me to work on monday and give a couple of years worth of birds a lift back to my flat from the boozer for a fettlin. got some great polaroid photos of 80's scooter trash and skinhead birds with monster thatches that had graced that snett. id need a f****n Ferrari to get that kind of action now!!!!
I had a good laugh reading the above post happy days eh?

++ update++ did last years rallies on a well deserved but not asked for sparkplug.
so recapping smuggly. this bike had a £2.75 plus carplan tesco two stroke to the tune of a bottle a week.
it passed more scooters than passed it and gamely started come rain or shine.
its now inherited rear foot boards and a rasta key ring fob.
seriously folks anybody riding cheaper?.
oh and i got an even rustier sprint rack off Skipsey at the York sc bash. happy days . this has got to be too good to last! wheres the heart ache? wheres the limp wallet? wheres the oily fingers clutching my snakebite. ive even lost weight and i reckon a bit of my hairs grown back. arent lambrettas reliable?
