I guess that those who took part in the earlier thread(s) will have put some more miles on them and perhaps you could let us have an update, especially if on tubeless rims.

Ciao

"not on a Lambretta"
Got a new rear when the mot man found a big split in the chinese "Fortune" on the rear.
The Conti fell much better riding home - even with all the dressing/mould release stuff on.
Now its been scuffed in a bit with a 200 mile ride yesterday, it just grips.
Of course that just highlights the fact that the suspension is s**t, now I don't feel I'll be oiked off at every corner.

Had one on split rims for about 600 miles and found it good, only dry riding though at the moment.

I put a set on just before the Coast to coast and found them to be very good all round. But after the 750 mile round trip the rear was pretty well worn as you might expect. I don't seem to get more than about a thousand miles out of any rear tyre.

Thanks all for your input.

Any more before I put my hand in my pocket!

Cheers

Yes terrible on the rear , 1500 miles tops !! Took forever and a day to scrub on the front, but all good and feel planted in wet conditions.

That sort of mileage will do me, and usually I pre scrub with sandpaper!

Put Conti moves on the scoot for the Euro Lambretta no issues what so ever , the front has plenty of tread left as you would expect and the rear 100/90 has plenty left also , this is after roughly 2000 mls so no complaints .

1500 on the rear is p155 poor imo for a tyre....
