5 Plate Clutch Replacement.

I am changing my gearbox soon and was going to change the corks in my 5 Plate Clutch that have been in use for about 5 years but can't seem to find anybody supplying cork plates on their own.
Nothing wrong but whilst I'm in there.....
Question: Are the corks from a 4 plate set up the same thickness as those from a 5 Plate set up as I have a couple of new sets I take on rallys just in case?
Anybody changed theirs ?

Could be the same as 4 plate or different. Sorry!

Do you have a deep sprocket or not?

If you really don't know, take them out and measure.

Mb sell a set of 6 corks at 2.6mm each and one has angled tangs. They also sell 5 x 3.5mn corks but i don't know about tangs as I've never used them.

Standard sprocket. Yep I know; gotta measure when they're out. Just pre-planning.

If you've got a standard sprocket you must have thinner corks.
So you could use the mb ones. Only £24 for 6 and the angled tangs are nice.

Got the thinner steels but couldn't remember if the corks were thinner.
Cheers

As Surflex have been making clutch plates since Adam was a lad and as I have never had any issues with them, I use Surflex green plates in both my 5 plates with rock oil lite gear oil.

I use MB Springs. I have not tried the ones that come with the kits. They are not cork so don't use ST90 oil.
