Today I was left the task of repairing an auto Vespa for its MOT.
Rust in the bellypan, not sure as to the best way to tackle it,
I didn't want to lie it down incase of fuel floosing, even the carb contents and a mig welder don't mix well together.
I didn't want to lie on the ground, 6 inches of clearance for my arms and a welding torch wouldn't work either, and I would have been lieing in all the little blims that drop off my upside down welding
So I scratched my head, looked at the bike ramp and came up with the conclusion that I had an idea that would work
So I set about popping it on the ramp and strapping it up:
On my class 7 MOT ramp
Way better access to get to the crusty bits:
Hour and a bit, and job jobbed.
Bloody rusty mopeds

Ah, should have added a pic of the finished article
Lambretta chop is on my list of to do's.
I have moved it to my work to spur me on, as I have been slack on it in last coupla years.
Fuel taps arrived today for the BSA tank, CDI and reg and it will run, as the engine was built and dynoed in my rusty lambretta in january.

Oh, Donnie all done, and now its my turn
Not a GTS, look closely and you will see that clearly.
Lammy chop is another itch I am scratching, tell us more about your desired ride, and I will most likely have had/got one in my hoard.
Unless your favoured ride is 'tall, beer bellied, bald and wearing a flight jacket'.
I cant help you there, but look around any scooter rally and knock yourself out or knock one out in a tissue if you are shy

Ipman, you really do entertain me, but I'm sure that if we met I'd find you to be a complete bell-end.
