I got a bit carried away!!!

I got a bit carried away / distracted, the question is can this still be used? The damage is only where the flywheel bearing inner collar sits, the part the oilseal sits is undamaged. What do you think? Anyone done this and still used without problems?

You could get it welded and re-ground but at this point it would be cheaper to buy a replacement.

struth matey !!,you were for sure a bit heavy handed there lol...but no reason why it wouldnt still work as the seal surfaces are still intact and good .

Yes I know Sean, teach me to talk and work at the same time

It should be tight on the undamaged parts and maybe a bit of locktight to make sure.
What's the consequence of it coming loose or spinning?

Buy a puller £20ish and never have to use a grinder again

I found similar in a Malossi 210 before now and had been running fine for years apparently so don't see why not.

Wack63 Iv'e always done it like this and never had a problem till now

Have considered a puller but some are a waste of time where you get yours from?

Someone posted a thread on here about that type of puller. I bought one in the strength of that and it's brilliant. Can't remember where from though
