Lammy starts but dis and backfires!

My muggy 200, reedvalve just died in town. Would start again but as soon as I Rev it dies. It revs through really messy, backfires and dies again! Any thoughts?

Check HT Lead/plugCap is all ok
& if no joy fit another plug 1st

It's nuts mate, she's starting, will tick over, as soon as I Rev it starts to die and when it backfired it was like a gun going off!!!

Thinking about it it's been playing up for a few days, like little backfires when I'm riding, more like little farts than the big backfire I had tonight
