Carb set up for iron 190 kit

Hi guys, working on a mates engine with the following specs.
Iron 190 kit ported to St4 (170 ex,150 Inl,126trans). Taffspeed copy exhaust, 17degrees ignition. Problem is carb related carb is a 30phbh fitted with mj110, pilot 55, slide 40 atomiser AV264, needle X13 2nd clip, float 300.
With the above settings it will only start with throttle open and will run with Rickover screw wound right in and airscrew 2 turns out.revs ok and idles ok once warm but with no adjustment.
Change needle to X7 2clip, engine started with no throttle Rickover screw wound out to lower revs and airscrew 1 turn out.
Owner will try and ire it tomorrow to see how it goes .
Any ideas for further settings? Cheers in advance Andy
