EGT Gauge

So,i bought an EGT gauge and sensor from Cam Lam.Its a Koso.Strange that it came with no fitting instructions.Never mind,I'll just ring Cam Lam,they will know.Must have fitted hundreds.NO.Not a clue."So how will I know where to fit the sensor" I asked.Look on the internet I was told.Hmm,not what I was expecting.
So, my question is,how do I find out where to fit the sensor?
Is it important that it goes in a specific place?
