What's the best way to disable the autolube on a T5? I guess the pump drive shaft from the clutch needs removing and the hole blanking but does the airbox channel need plugging to prevent air being sucked in ?

I've just stuck a t5 motor in the pig which has autolube fitted, where my old motor was mix in the tank.

Short term I'm going to gaffer tape up the feed tube.

Long term I think you're supposed to remove the shaft that goes down to the crank drive and plug the hole. I'd have thought blocking the channel in the carb would be a good idea too.

No doubt someone who knows what they're doing with Vespas will be along shortly to put you right.

I just take the cog off in the engine , not the one under the clutch!! Then silicone up the channel under carb. Don't like disabling them , as are a bloody god send and work perfect!
