So, who should I go to to get a con rod kit for a Starstream crank?
Whether it is true or not I don't know but I have heard it said that there is a kit on the market where the pin may be problematic.
Ciao all.

The early J100/125 crank used a stepped crank pin. This didn't give enough grip on the webs and many of them spun out of line fairly quickly. The later version was a straight pin. The Casa rod kits are all straight pin as far as I know. I'm fairly certain you'd have the straight pin. A rough measurement of the pin diameter would be 15mm for the stepped, 18mm for the straight. If you have the stepped version, you have to get someone to bore the pin holes. I just did a cento crank pin hole bore last night. ha
It's a 3 speed, yeah?
