Disc brake
How tight must the half nut on a disc brake be tightened ? Because anymore then finger tight, then the disc locks up ! Also should a wavy washer be fitted between the half nut and top hat ?

No washer is needed between the nut and top hat,I always tighten to just above finger tight,you dont want any sideways movement,fit the disc and tighten the dome nuts.Hotdog wrote:How tight must the half nut on a disc brake be tightened ?
