I have my eye on a barn -job but it has no cables or even the pulleys and twist rods to which they attach. Sorry silly question but what is the correct term for those as I have yet to see any on any of the more obvious spare parts sites. I am thinking this might be why they are not longer there!

Have you not tried Scooter Restorations?

There are very few items required to rebuild a Lambretta that they do not have.
