Any qualms with the crankshaft bearings and seals that scootRS offer?

I think that people over here don't bother with ScootRS bearings and seals as we have bearing stockists and scooter shops where we can get these parts without having to go to the Far East for them.

Sorry, but I guess that most UK riders haven't had cause to buy such parts from ScootRS

Hi there,

I am not anti Scoot RS by any means, but I have seen the seals for myself. A mate bought a set when he bought a few other bits & pieces. Like the rubber used on their air hoses, air scoop gaskets etc, there is no "play" in them.... they seem to use a very hard, rigid & plastic like material. Personally, I would not use them mate. I have never heard of anyone who has used them, but by looks & feel alone, they would not fill me with any confidence.

I bet we all have. We used to buy the EXACT same oil seals from MBD before we bought them direct. Does MBD not fill anyone with confidence? ;-)

We've used them for many years. Very good quality, zero problems. Zero negative reports back.

We also sell only the best quality bearings, mostly FAG and INA but also good Japanese ones which are standard equipment on many motorbikes. But, yeah, if you can find them cheaper there, better to do that.
