Ok, I have 2 Vespas with standard ignitions, first is a sprint, with a Polini, times Ok on a strobe on tickover, but retards to about 24 btdc when revved.
T'tother is a Pk, that strobes fine on tickover but advances to about 10 btdc when revved.
What is the most common failure on the ignition to allow this??
Before I try, CDI, Pick up and the LT coil in that order.

Or do we just ignore the revved marks and settle for the fact it was ok on tickover???????????
