I had exactly the same, said he had posted one out twice. Supposedly lost in 30 miles, I don't think so.

As i sell some stainless products for another industry it should be noted that the term Stainless Steel is worthless unless the grade of stainless is quoted. Anyone who works with stainless knows this. I had a quick look at SSP and there is no mention of stainless grade.

Very generally bog standard should be at least 304, used for gates etc.. and even that is not much good near the coast. Anything starting with a 2 in the number is akin to furniture grade and is not any good for outside., at least not long term. Then add all the dodgy Chinese Stainless.

If all on needs is a bit of shinny bling as a replacement for Chrome they any old stuff will do.

I ran a scooter with one of their 13 litre tanks for several years. No issues at all and I only sold it on as the new engine wasn't compatible. A quick wipe and a polish and it looked brand new.

Top quality stuff, probably nothing better that's similar, just the customer service lets them down.
